The Nerve!

Just for the record, as I was flipping through channels and passed through FOX news today I heard something that made me want to puke even more than usual. According to a certain FOX factor, people who live in places like "New Orleans, and California, you know, near the San Andreas want to get a free ride from the tax payers anytime something bad happens." He then said that people who didn't have insurance should not get any aid money from tax payers! Ugh, yuck! Then he asked, "Where is the UN, where is the rest of the world in our time of need?" My question: Where is our own leadership? Plans to build better levees were tossed out to pay for Iraq and tax cuts! The money needed to make the improvements was enough to fund about nine hours of the war in Iraq. The National Guard wasn't there to help evacuate or keep order because they are in Iraq! Bush was playing golf the day after it hit and cut his vacation a whopping four hours short today to fly over the destruction on his way back to the white house! He said "I'm sure it looks a lot worse from the ground." Clinton would have gone down there and seen it himself! They have 30 helicopters for thousands of people stranded and the hospital ship they are sending has a mere 1000 beds! To top it all off, Franklin Graham went on Hannity and Colmes and blamed the looting on the lack of prayer in schools and the Gay pride parade of New Orleans...WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!?!?!?!?!?
